Looking for an affordable way to get valuable information?
Knowledge is the key to success and the fountain of knowledge flows freely. SRMG, as the name suggests, was set up to educate people about sports risk management issues so sport can flourish in a safe environment. At SRMG we educate through various mediums. First there are our article and our e-books. The next level is our seminars and workshops and the final level is personal consultancy.
At each level you gain a greater understanding of the topic of subject matter concerned. The important thing is never to stop learning. If you stop, you stagnate. There is always more to know and a greater depth of understanding to appreciate.
The Unique features of our seminars and workshops
We have several unique features to our workshops which are:
No fluff – our seminars and workshops are educational. They are not an advert for our other services. We will let you know what else we do in case you need our other services and products, but the purpose of any seminar is to educate, not sell.
Our money back guarantee – if you don’t learn anything form our seminars or workshops and you tell us immediately afterwards, we give you your money back.
An opportunity to have your questions answered – this is the nearest you will get to personal consultancy without paying the price of personal consultancy. We don’t mind answering your questions because that means you go away with a better understanding.
Our current seminars and workshops are listed to the left. Click on the links to find out more.
Here is what some people had to say about our workshops and seminars
When we contacted the Sports Risk Management Group we wanted to run a practical workshop where the participants would walk away feeling comfortable about the concept of risk management planning and have a commitment to implement it within their activity. By the second night of the workshop it was obvious to me that everyone did feel comfortable with risk management and how to put a plan together. I can't say that everyone walked away with a completed plan after the two sessions but they all walked away knowing what they were going to do and that was great. I particularly enjoyed the style of the presenters and their use of practical examples. The legal component of this issue can be particularly bewildering at times but the language used to explain the concepts was easy to understand. I would definitely recommend this workshop to any sports body or regional sports trust who is anxious to raise the standard of risk management planning within their sport or region. We are committed to the risk management process in the Counties Manukau region and will be running another workshop with the Sports Risk Management Group shortly.
Melissa Noble – Events and Marketing Manager, Counties Manukau Sport
I came to the workshop wanting to be educated on the basic processes of risk management and was very pleased with how comprehensive the workshop was in particular the links back to the Health and Safety Act and legal liabilities. I found the presenters very interesting and almost captivating! I also appreciated the diverse knowledge and experiences of the participants. I would definitely recommend it.
